Impact

With several dozen Cités des Métiers across Europe, the model has proven its resilience, with some Cités des Métiers having been active for over 20 years. At this stage, it became necessary to assess the social and societal impact of the concept. 

An initial effort was launched with the consultancy firm Solidere Conseil in 2022, focusing on the consolidation of a framework of indicators and a first qualitative analysis involving contributions from 19 Cités des Métiers. 

Based on this work, a report was written outlining the major challenges on which the Cités des Métiers generate a positive impact. The report also highlights the benefit of European governance through the association of the International Network of Cités des Métiers.
